Comment Box Quandary

I’m tense! I’m tense!

Maybe it’s the Full Moon coming

Or annual recertification meeting

That’s stressing me irrationally…

Or could it be the Comment Boxes

Which wind me up, make me crazy?

I don’t know what folks want to hear…

How, to their words, I should best reply.

If they share something sad with me

Whether current event, or from the Past

And I type compassionate, “I’m sorry”

It may not be what they’re looking for…

Sometimes they seem offended, “sore”.

But if I click LIKE…do a heart, smiley…

Will they think I lack sensitivity…?

Everybody’s different, I know…we

Come from all around the globe…

Different styles of communicating

What’s important, what we’ll disclose.

I’ve been blogging since 2011…I’m

Still unclear about what’s apropos.

I thought most people desired comments

A bit of back-and-forth, goodwill exchanged.

The world is more than sufficiently fractious

We shouldn’t feel wary of Comment boxes…

So, please spell it out, if you prefer I keep mum πŸ™‚

  1. Most people appreciate likes and comments, I think. Not all of us are communicating in the same primary language, which can generate issues. I avoid following back bloggers who don’t post in English ~ I won’t use a translation because they can be weird.
