‘Blessed table’ update

Feast

A triumph…nice couple

Conversation

Flowed, no awkwardness or silences

Hearty food, desserts abundant…hugged “goodbyes”…cook’s happily exhausted.

I’m no photographer, but I took some phone pix of my table before the guests arrived🙂 That’s a sunlight reflection, not a white blemish on the plate; goblets and silverware continue the seashell theme, as do napkins and shell napkin holders.  The centerpiece: aloe plant, a clear glass “shell” filled with shells and aquarium glass, and a figurine by a California artist titled “The Dream Maker”; place mats are sand dollars.  The chair cushions…seashells a near match to color of the dishes…were made by a friend.

    • Oh, I’m so glad you think so! Wish I could invite all my blog friends to come for dinner–the table is big, and has a leaf that makes it even larger. I believed that God would bring people to it, the “blessed table”…but it’s taking time, as I don’t know a lot of people, and very few Christians (other people are uncomfortable with all the crosses and Jesus things around…and a gazillion Bibles 🙂 ). But I purchased it and named it “the blessed table”, in faith that He did give me the gift of “hospitality” and will send people in His time. Blessings to you ❤

    • I don’t know where you live–but you have an open invitation to come visit…just give me a couple days notice so I can cook up a storm…and maybe clean a little 🙂 I may share some more photos of my “seaside” bijou home ❤ The decor is basically seashells, crosses and Jesus-faith stuff 🙂

  1. Ennle, your decor is stunning, it is a blessing to those invited at your table.
I love your theme of sea shells, the light green/turquoise is a calming colour.
I am glad your dinner was well received.
