Grateful for Grace (A to Z Challenge, Letter G)

God’s greatest gift to world, grace*… It

Reassures, restores relationship when there’s a rift… Grace

Always makes a bridge when I’ve turned away, then back.

Christ embodies grace, the bridge awash in His blood… My

Eternal position with God secured, unearned…by His sacrifice alone.

For His grace, forever grateful

Knowing I can’t finish single day

Without some slip or stumble…

That’s why it’s called “Amazing”

Grace:  though my faith is weak

Candle flickering…God’s heart is

Unmovable, e’er faithful to His

Children—beacon beams infinitely.

Bible Verses: biblehub.com

*“For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.” Ephesians 2:8-10, Berean Study Bible

*“He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not because of our own works, but by His own purpose and by the grace He granted us in Christ Jesus before time eternal.  And now He has revealed this grace through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has abolished death and illuminated the way to life and immortality through the gospel…” 2nd Timothy 1:9-10, Berean Study Bible

~♥~

Carry me to violet place where

Lavender mist lifts, perfumes air

Barely a ripple imprints thoughts…

Tranquility disperses cares.

Love holy, Spirit, sojourns here

Bids weary restless hearts draw near.

Meet me, shepherds, sinners make haste…

We’ll bathe, be restored in limpid waters of grace.
