FOWC with Fandango — Contacts

Used to wear

Contacts

They made me look

Beautiful

Used to have more contacts

As in people…I discovered less is really more.

Buried Journey

Fandango’s Flash Fiction Challenge #6

Life’s road went on…on

Sands of years drifting over

Relentless, arid

Often obscuring vision

Covering shame, secret heart

~

Dry grit in mouth, mind

Wind, manic woman sweeping

Grainy tide ne’er ebbs

I walked awhile till feet burned

Journey buried ‘neath gilt dunes

Blurry Vision

https://lightmotifs.wordpress.com/2019/03/17/three-things-challenge-pl32/

Today’s prompt: rainbow, serpent, cookie

Blurry rainbow colored

Serpent

Could be mere winged

Fantasy

Or pain medication’s odd effect…

Putting eyeglasses on, I discover trail of cookie crumbs.

Enigmatic Dancer (3TC)

https://lightmotifs.wordpress.com/2019/03/04/three-things-challenge-pl19/

Today’s prompt: uranium, moss, dancer

Toxic as uranium

In almost every way

She is nonetheless

An enchanting dancer

Toes spinning amid

Soft moss, swirling

Trance-like, arms raised

A vision of peace, love

Which has no boundaries…

And dark enigmatic pull
